We're looking forward to the 2009 contest.  We loved hosting our annual Angus EPD Judging Contest in 2008 at the Poland Angus Ranch. The contest was held again at Richard's, which from Isabel, is one mile east, three miles south, one mile east and ¼ mile north.

The contest started at 9:00 a.m. with a brief explanation of EPD’s and what we're looking for in the cattle.

We had 4 classes of females and 4 classes of bulls.

Sr. 4-H and FFA A-teams gave two sets of oral reasons, and Jr. 4-H and FFA B-teams answered questions on those two classes.

A complimentary lunch was served. We're looking forward to hosting the 4-H and FFA judging teams again in 2008!
